CHA 430 Health Care Delivery System
(Formerly issues in the Health Care Delivery System)
An in-depth study of the organization of the U.S. health care delivery system. Special attention is given to practices and problems affecting providers and consumers of health care. Recent changes in the financing mechanisms and their impact on distribution of services are discussed.
3 hrs a week, 1 semester, 3 credits. |

- We will transfer up to 82 credits of previous coursework (grade of C and above)

- At Brookdale, St. Joseph’s College offers courses toward a BS degree Health Administration
- In addition, at the main campus St. Joseph’s offers BS degrees in Community Health and Human Services, Organizational Management, Business Administration with a Major in Accounting, Computer Information Systems, and Nursing (RN required)
- Credit awarded for prior professional training and experiential learning (PELA)
- Once-a-week classes available seven days a week (at the main campus)
- Registered with the N.Y. State Education Department and accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools
