The Department of Cardiology is staffed by Board-Certified Attending Physicians and a team of highly trained and skilled nurses.
The Division of Cardiology is a full service heart care division offering many diagnostic tests. Some of the tests include; stress tests, echocardiography, nuclear medicine and cardiac catheterization.
With the advancements of technology, we are keeping pace by creating a new state-of-the-art digital Electro Physiology Laboratory. This laboratory includes an arrhythmia service with in-patient and out-patient monitoring of permanent pacemakers and AICD. Pacemaker implants and interrogation, ablations and electro physiology studies are also performed in this laboratory.
Brookdale has received New York State approval to perform primary angioplasty. We are currently in the process of developing this service.
