| The Department of Cardiology is staffed by Board-Certified Attending Physicians and a team of highly trained and skilled nurses.
The Division of Cardiology is a full service heart care division offering many diagnostic tests including stress testing, echocardiography, nuclear medicine and cardiac catheterization. A full service state-of-the-art Electro Physiology Laboratory has recently been developed. This laboratory includes an arrhythmia service with in-patient and out-patient monitoring of permanent pacemakers and AICD. Pacemaker implants and interrogation, ablations and electro physiology studies are also performed in this laboratory.
Brookdale has received New York State approval to perform primary angioplasty, which has also been fully integrated.
