The Nephrology and Hypertension Division has the ability to provide chronic and acute hemodialysis for in-patient and nursing home patients in the hospital. For patients in a critical care setting we have the capacity, through our portable hemofiltration unit, to perform hemodialysis at the bedside.
In addition to the hospital based hemodialysis unit, the Division operates a 28 station ambulatory dialysis setting locally.
Hemodialysis services include in/out patient chronic and acute hemodialysis. Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) for home use is also available. |
