The Division of Pediatric Cardiology is staffed by Board-Certified physicians and a team of highly skilled and trained nurses who provide comprehensive cardiac evaluation for all children from birth to 19 years of age both in a private setting and through hospital run clinics. We provide over 2000 diagnostic procedures annually including EKG, Echocardiogram, Stress tests, Tilt tests, and Holters. The division is a referral center for fetal echocardiography and we perform over 200 fetal echocardiograms per year. Dr. Dhuper is the network Cardiologist for the NY Presbyterian Healthcare system and all invasive procedures, angiograms, electrophysiological studies and surgeries are performed at the state of the art Children’s Hospital of Columbia Presbyterian or New York Hospital via our referral system.
To fight the obesity epidemic in children, the Department of Cardiology has established a community based partnership, the Live Light Live Right program. This program is the recipient of a 5-year grant from the New York State Department of Health. Over 1000 children have been evaluated and referred to our free/ subsidized exercise programs. |
