APPLICATIONS FOR HOUSE STAFF POSITIONS
DEPARTMENT OF MEDICINE

Thank you for your interest in the Internal Medicine Residency Training Programs at The Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. Our requirements for acceptable candidates are as follows:

• Applications are being accepted through ERAS only. ERAS Website: www.aamc.org/eras.  Paper applications will not be considered.  Graduation from an accredited medical school. Criteria concerning scores in USLM examination. Candidates with scores of 80 and above on Steps One and Two with results from FIRST ATTEMPTS at these examinations will be strongly considered.
• U.S. Clinical experience is preferred (not excluding externship or observership)
• .Ability to communicate fluently, written and orally, in English 
• Superior interpersonal skills.
• Dean's Letter
• Three letters of recommendation.
• The Hospital does sponsor H1 and J1 visas.
